Ali J. Siddiqui is a sponsor of JS Group, one of Pakistan’s largest conglomerates and Managing Partner of JS Private Equity, Pakistan’s largest private equity firm. From 2002 to 2003 he served as an Executive Director of JS Investments, Pakistan’s largest private sector mutual fund manager.
Prior to JS Group, Mr. Siddiqui was based in Hong Kong as a Director at Crosby; a private equity firm that also managed venture funds investing in Asia-Pacific, including funds managed for the Hong Kong and Korean Government agencies.
He serves on the boards of a number of fast-growing private sector companies in Pakistan and the Middle East within the Agriculture, Aviation, Banking, Energy and Ports sector. In addition, he supports a number of charitable and sustainable development organizations. He is also the CEO of the Mahvash and Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation, which is one of the largest private sector charities in Pakistan. He graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Economics.
